What is Genymotion?
Genymotion is fastest Android Emulator, that set up Virtual Devices on your windows, Linux, or MAC. Genymotion is Most Fastest tool used by people throughout world for different purposes such as gaming, App Development etc. But it is Mostly uses by Android App Developer to test there App(Today our Topic), due to different reasons such as it test our app faster than AVD Manger.
How to Install Genymotion?
- To Install Genymotion you should download Genymotion from HERE.
- When Download is Completed so Run the application. it will first install Virtual Box on your system. When Virtual box installation is got completed so it will ask to Restart.
- Restart Your PC.
- Run Genymotion Application again Follow the step and Genymotion Got installed now.
- Run Genymotion Application now by clicking on it's ICON on Desktop.
- for First time it will Require Login/Signup.
- Click on Signup to create the Account.
- It will open a Web site in your browser.
- Just fill it and provide your email.
- it will send an Activation Link to your Email.
- Open your Email and Activate it.
- Then open Genymotion Application again, and click on login provide your username and Password and here you go you are login now.
How To Set Up Android Virtual Device on Genymotion Emulator?
- Now Click on + button at top Right Hand Corner as shown in Rectangle below
- Select API Version you want to create a new virtual device and click on Next it will take time to download.
- When download is completed so it will install it on your Genymotion application.
How to Setup Genymotion on Android Studio?
- Launch your installed devices by clicking on device and then click on start.
- Keep running it.
- Open Android Studio.
- Click on File Menu-> Settings -> Plugin
- In it Search for Genymotion.
- Install it. Restart Android Studio.
- There you find Android virtual device. click on Run.
- Wait for a while and after a little time you will find your app in android installed device.
